Test a WhatsApp receptionist with your own salon
Use this checklist with your salon's approved menu and the person who approves appointments. It helps you prepare a guided test; the public example demo and an application do not start your live trial.
Bring these to guided setup
- Your approved services, prices or ranges, currency, opening hours and closures.
- Your salon's own WhatsApp number. We check eligibility and connection options before changes; keeping an existing number is not unconditional.
- The owner completes their own Meta/Facebook login and supplies Meta's payment method where required. We guide setup with you.
- A named team member to check your diary, approve requests and receive questions that need a person. Fresha and Zenoti do not synchronise automatically with Saponly.
- Review the Saponly subscription and Meta messaging estimate separately. Meta charges may apply during the trial.
Six conversations to review together
Questions below are test prompts with placeholders, not real customer conversations. Replace [service] and [day/time] with your own approved information.
1. Price and conditions
How much is [service]?
Compare the price, currency and any range, consultation or hair-length condition with your menu. A starting price must not become a fixed quote.
2. Hours and closures
Are you open on [day]?
Check the actual day's hours and any closure. Repeat with a day you are closed.
3. Arabic meaning
كم سعر [الخدمة]؟ وهل تعملون يوم [اليوم]؟
Have someone who uses Arabic review the meaning, currency and conditions against the same approved information.
4. A pending booking
Can I request [service] on [day/time]?
Use a time occupied in your external diary. The request must stay unconfirmed until your team checks the diary and approves. Confirm the team sees the correct service and preference.
5. An unknown question
Do you offer [a service not in your menu]?
Check the reply and the actual handoff to your team. Assign who responds; an unknown service must not turn into an invented price.
6. An information update
How much is [service]? (Repeat after updating the approved menu.)
Review the new reply in both languages. Correct a mistake and repeat the affected checks instead of assuming updated information guarantees a correct answer.
Agree the result before starting the trial
AI can make mistakes. Read the replies, check the team's request and handoff workflow, and review any issues with the founder. Agree the supported setup and live-test result together. Your 30 trial days start after a successful live test on your salon's own eligible WhatsApp number.
Reminders need a separate readiness check: supported WhatsApp connection, available included usage and the necessary Meta-approved templates for your salon. A demo template is not proof that your salon's reminder is approved.
Read the reminder and delivery checklistQuestions before the test
- Do I need to replace Fresha or Zenoti for this test?
- No. Keep your diary. Saponly does not automatically synchronise external calendars; your team checks availability before approving each booking request.
- Does sending the application start the trial?
- No. The 30 trial days start after a successful live test on your salon's own eligible WhatsApp number. A public demo or an application is not that live test.
- Can Saponly complete my Meta login for me?
- The owner completes their own Meta/Facebook login and provides Meta's payment method where required. Saponly guides setup and checks the number's eligibility.
- Are Meta messages included in the free Saponly trial?
- Meta messaging charges are separate and may apply during the trial. Review the applicable estimate before setup; Saponly does not cap Meta's separate bill.
