1. Who you are contracting with
You are contracting with Saponly, a trading name of an unincorporated sole proprietorship operated by Shakib. It is operated from Bangladesh, and has no office or registered address in the UAE or elsewhere in the Gulf. These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh.
Saponly is run by one person, not a company, and we would rather you know that before you buy than discover it in a dispute. There is no UAE, Saudi or other Gulf establishment behind this service, and no local entity you could bring a claim against.
Saponly is not registered for VAT. Invoices carry no VAT line, so there is no input VAT for you to reclaim. If your own tax position requires a VAT invoice from a registered supplier, tell us before you buy.
If your procurement process requires a supplier that is incorporated, locally established, or VAT-registered, Saponly does not meet that bar today. Say so before you sign up and we will tell you honestly whether that is likely to change in your timeframe.
2. What Saponly is
Saponly is a family-friendly AI receptionist and booking assistant for salons, delivered over WhatsApp and a salon dashboard. It is intended only for lawful, family-friendly salon and grooming services.
3. Family-friendly use only
Saponly may be used only for legitimate, family-friendly services. Adult, sexual, erotic, sensual, escort, prostitution-related, nude or topless, “happy ending”, body-to-body, exploitative, illegal, or otherwise immoral services are strictly prohibited, including any use of coded language to imply them. See the Prohibited Services Policy.
4. Salon owner responsibility
You are responsible for the content you add and the menu you publish — service names, descriptions, prices, and anything your AI receptionist presents to customers. You are responsible for ensuring your offering complies with these terms and with the laws of your jurisdiction.
Saponly collects booking requests from customers and assists your replies. It does not confirm bookings on your behalf: every request waits for your approval, and the final decision to accept, decline, or fulfil any booking or service is yours. You remain responsible for honouring the bookings you approve and for your dealings with your customers.
5. Moderation and enforcement
To the extent it becomes aware, Saponly may moderate, reject, hide, suspend, remove, cancel, or terminate any service, listing, booking, or account connected to prohibited use — automatically or after review, with or without notice where necessary to prevent harm.
- New and edited services are screened automatically.
- Ambiguous services are held for manual review before they can be published.
- Clearly prohibited services are rejected and cannot be listed, answered by the AI, booked, or charged through Saponly.
6. Fees do not grant prohibited use
During the beta, billing is handled manually. Paying any fee does not grant any right to use Saponly for prohibited services. Saponly may refuse, exclude, reverse, or refund any charge it identifies as connected to prohibited use, and may decline to continue billing an account engaged in prohibited use.
7. Accounts
You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe present a risk.
8. WhatsApp and third parties
Saponly operates on top of the WhatsApp Business Platform and other third-party services. Your use must also comply with those providers’ policies. We are not responsible for outages or changes outside our control.
9. Disclaimers
Saponly is provided “as is” during the beta and we do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. Saponly does not claim any religious or legal certification; where you require such assurance, please consult a qualified advisor.
10. Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes are reflected by the “last updated” date above. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
